PROCLAMATION.

His Excellency Sir SAMUEL GEORGE BONHAM, Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, Her Majesty's Pleni- potentiary and Chief Superintendent of the Trade of British Subjects in China, on the occasion of the Birthday of Her Most Gracious Majesty, is pleased, in the name and on the behalf of the QUEEN, to grant a conditional Pardon to Alfred Hunter and William Gillespie, and a free Pardon to Lum-Wuntsei and Wong-Eshing, at present confined in the Jail of this Colony.
